Youth Cheerleading
Do you have spirit? The YMCA of Coastal Georgia’s Youth Cheerleading offers girls and boys the chance to be active and have some fun cheering on the YMCA Youth Sports teams. Cheerleaders will build self-confidence and self-esteem while developing social skills and healthy relationships with others. They will also develop healthy lifestyles through dance and movements.
Youth Cheerleading is open to kids ages 3+. Every child will participate and cheer in most of the games. Our association’s goal is to develop our youth to be well-rounded individuals through the positivity of cheer.
We also offer Youth Dance at numerous locations.
4U (Ages 3-4)

All participants will receive a YMCA Cheerleading jersey.

Habersham Youth Cheerleading (Ages 3+)
Practice begins December 7, 2020.
- All practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00pm in the Youth Center.
Games begin January 9, 2021.
- Coaches will provide schedules of games.
- Games will be on Saturdays except tournament games.
- Last game of season is March 6.
All participants will receive a YMCA Cheerleading shirt/jersey
