Learning – back handsprings, tucks, combination tumbling, on bars learning kips, back hip circles, on beams, cartwheels, dismounting and handstand hold.

Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 classes per month.

The Advanced Beginner Boys class continues the skill progressions introduced in the Beginner class while emphasizing correct technique and building strength.

The Advanced Beginner Girls class continues the skill progressions introduced in the Beginner or Hi 5/6 classes with emphasis on correct technique while developing greater strength and flexibility.

All athletes that participate in this class should have previous experience and have had an evaluation from their coach.  It is 1 1/2 hour class two times per week for children ages 5 and up.

This class is designed as a preparation the competitive program. Gymnasts continue to develop their strength, skill and technique and flexibility while beginning to learn the skills required for team.

Learning rolls, handstants, back-bends, introducing bars, pulling self onto bars, walking on beam.

Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 classes per month.

This class introduces the six men’s competitive events: vault, high bar, pommel horse, parallel bars, rings and floor exercise. The class focuses on body awareness and works progressions for the basic skills on each event.

The beginner class is a fun introduction to the four women’s competitive events. The class focuses on body awareness and begins progressions for the basic skills on each event. The Beginner Girls class is reserved for ages 5 and up.

The Hi 5/6 class is a fun introduction to the four women’s competitive events. The class focuses on body awareness and begins progressions for the basic skills on each event. The Hi 5/6 class follows the same lesson plans as the Beginner class but is reserved for 5 and 6 year olds.

Learning – cartwheels, round offs, back bend stand up, back bend walk over, front walk over, on bars working on pull overs, casts, forms, and on beam leaps, turns, and mounts.

Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 classes per month.

This challenging class is designed to prepare the gymnast in continuing to develop their strength, skill, technique and flexibility.

Open Gym is a great opportunity to get some extra practice, play games and have a blast with friends! This supervised 2 hour event is a favorite for those who just can’t get enough of being in the gym. We have Recreational and Team Coaches who spot skills, monitor the environment, and coach technique. Open Gym is for anyone ages 5 and up. A REGISTRATION FORM IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS.

Private lessons are a great way to introduce gymnastics to anyone! With one-on-one experience from trained coaches, we are determined to help your little one achieve the goals of their dreams. Our Y has a wide range of programs for you and your child. This will also help get your little one ready for our recreational gymnastics’ classes, competition gymnastics, or even some cheerleading!

Private lessons will be held Monday-Friday, any time between 4:00pm-7:00pm.

• 30 minutes sessions will be $25.00
• 1hr sessions will be $50.00
