Summer Day Camp

Summer Day Camp

YMCA camp programs offer a fun and unique experience that gives children and teens the opportunity to have the best summer ever, by meeting new friends, exploring nature, discovering new interests, being physically active and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Day Camp, like many Y programs, is about learning skills, developing character and making friends. Few environments are as special as camp, where kids become a community as they learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group as they engage in physical, social and educational activities. Y counselors are dedicated to making sure camp is an amazing experience for every camper- all summer long.

*All fees for camp are due the Monday prior of camp week. Non-payment will result in removal of program. $25 late registration fee will be applied the Monday prior to camp week.

Traditional Day Camp (Ages 9-10)

Monday-Friday from 7am – 6pm (Includes Pre and Post Camp)

Voyagers embrace the camp spirit and take on new challenges! Each day, a counselor will lead their group of up to 18 Voyagers to each activity. On Mondays, each camper is given the opportunity to take a non-mandatory swim test in the pool.

Campers need to bring to camp: Lunch and 2 snacks, swim suit, towel, change of clothes, tennis shoes (no flip flops), water bottle. Make sure everything is labeled and no electronics or toys from home.

May 26-29: Fun and Fitness | Kick off camp by getting active and learning about how to move our bodies! Campers will engage in sports and fitness activities throughout the week to engage in healthy living and assimilate to camp. (No camp on Memorial Day)

June 1-5: Shark Week | Dive into adventure and explore the wonders of the ocean through fin-tastic games, fun activities, and thrilling (but friendly!) shark-themed challenges.

June 8-12: Cooking | Stir up some fun and step into the role of junior chef! Learn simple kitchen skills, explore new flavors, and sample yummy treats! No chef hat required.

June 15-19: Carnival | Step right up for a week of fun at camp! Experience the magic of the midway through classic carnival games, colorful crafts, silly challenges, and lively team activities.

June 22-26: Life Skills | Kids need to know how to do things, too! We teach caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility every day, but this week campers will learn about automobiles, house chores, money management, and more!

June 29-July 3: Super Heroes | Suit up for an action-packed week! Discover your inner hero through creative, power-packed games, imagination, and teamwork!

July 6-10: Jungle Survivor | We can survive the summer heat at camp, but can you survive a camping trip or outdoor challenge? Campers will learn outdoor and water safety this week while playing games and making friends.

July 13-17: STEM | Experiment, invent, and explore this week through the worlds of innovation. Each day will encourage curiosity, teamwork, and critical thinking. Perfect for every young scientist in the making!

July 20-24: Team Spirit | Show your colors and bring the energy! The end of the summer is the beginning of your teambuilding adventure. Each day highlights a different way to show sportsmanship, encouragement, and unity.

July 27-31: Splash Back to School | Let’s start back to school with a splash!

*All fees for camp are due the Monday prior of camp week. Non-payment will result in removal of program. A late registration fee of $25 will be applied if registering on the Monday prior to the week of camp or after.
